The office of SHAPE worked with the leadership of PPA in creating a conceptual design for a private school of approximately 150 students. Part of the design solution was to create a center in the community that was very viable, fun, culturally rich and centered on learning and education. The site for PPA is the parking lot of the original Lindsey Street Baptist Church, in the English Ave. Neighborhood of Atlanta. Lindsey St. Baptist Church is one of the oldest African American churches in Atlanta and home to several prominent Civil Rights Leaders.
