3 Primary Schools in Awka Villages
On the 16th and 17th September, 2019, three modern structures, Designed, Built and Furnished by Dr. Okey Anueyiagu Foundation were commissioned in 3 primary schools in Awka, Anambra State Nigeria. The structures contain classrooms, Teachers offices, Libraries and other modern facilities.
This activity has started a renaissance in the Nigerian primary education revival and turn-around. With the completion of this first phase in 3 schools, Dr. Okey Anueyiagu Foundation is now ready to start the next phase of 3 additional schools. The objective of the Foundation, apart from making significant contributions in other areas that impact the less privileged, is to construct about 100 buildings containing 1000 classrooms in Primary and Secondary schools in Nigeria. During the commissioning, there was wild jubilation in the various schools amongst the children, Teachers, and members of the community as they praised God for the magnificent buildings and modern facilities provided for them.
Dr. Okey Anueyiagu who was absent during the handover ceremonies of the 3 schools, was represented by Chris Obuekwe, a member of the Board of Trustees.
